On arrival at Dabolim/Manohar International Airport or Madgaon railway station, our representative will greet you and transfer you by AC vehicle to your beachside hotel in Baga or Calangute. After check-in and a short freshening-up break, head out in the late afternoon to Baga Beach, one of Goa's most famous stretches of sand. Watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea with a chilled coconut in hand, then settle in at a beachfront shack for a welcome dinner of fresh catch-of-the-day seafood, Goan fish curry and rice, paired with a bottle of the local Kingfisher or feni. Stroll along the promenade afterwards to soak in the buzz of live music bars and street stalls before returning to the hotel for a restful first night.
After a leisurely breakfast, set out on a full day of North Goa sightseeing. Begin at Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with a lighthouse offering sweeping views of the coastline where the Mandovi river meets the sea. Continue to Calangute Beach, Goa's largest and liveliest beach, for some time in the sun or a spot of parasailing and jet-skiing (payable directly at the beach counters). In the afternoon, wander through the famous Anjuna flea market (seasonal) or its permanent stalls for beachwear, silver jewellery and handicrafts. Wrap up the day at Vagator Beach, known for its red laterite cliffs, where you can watch one of Goa's most photographed sunsets before heading back for dinner at your own leisure, giving you a chance to explore Baga's restaurant scene independently.
This evening is dedicated to one of Goa's signature experiences - a sunset cruise on the Mandovi river. Board a well-appointed cruise boat as it sails past Goa's riverside skyline while a live band and troupe perform traditional Goan folk dances alongside Bollywood numbers. Snacks and a welcome drink are served onboard as the sky turns orange over the water. Earlier in the day, use the free morning to visit Mapusa's bustling local market, a great spot to pick up spices, cashews, local sweets and souvenirs at better prices than the tourist strips, or simply relax by the hotel pool and catch up on rest before the evening cruise.
Check out of your North Goa hotel after breakfast and drive south for approximately 1.5-2 hours to Palolem Beach, one of Goa's most picturesque and relaxed stretches of coastline, lined with palm trees and thatched-roof huts. Check in to your South Goa stay and spend the day unwinding on the quieter sands, away from the crowds of the north. In the late afternoon, an optional boat trip can be arranged to spot dolphins in the waters off Palolem and Agonda (subject to availability and sea conditions, payable locally). Enjoy a relaxed dinner at one of Palolem's beachfront cafes, known for their laid-back, bohemian vibe and live acoustic music evenings.
Enjoy a final relaxed breakfast at your South Goa hotel with the beach in view. Depending on your flight or train timing, spend the last few hours at leisure - take one more dip in the sea, browse a nearby handicraft store, or simply relax by the pool. Check out by the designated time and our AC vehicle will transfer you to Dabolim Airport or Madgaon railway station for your onward journey, bringing to a close a relaxed, well-rounded introduction to both the lively north and the tranquil south of Goa.
